كلنا نعرف اللوكيميا.. المرض اللئيم الذي يقتل الألآف كل عام
هذه التدوينه تتناول ذلك.. والحكايه كلها خياليه.. واسماء
الاطفال الوارده هنا اجنبيه كي تلائم النص الذي أدونه الآن بالانجليزيه
إنه إهداء الى الصديقه

ويعتبر هذا النص نوع من الشعر حسب مقاييس اللغه الانجليزيه

ويصور هذا النص حاله طفله وأخيها بعد ان اكتشف الاطباء وجود مرض
اللوكيميا لدى أخيهما الذي في مثل عمريهما تقريبا.. وكيف
يعبرون عن الحزن كل على طريقته الطفوليه.. غير أنه لامفر في النهايه في حال كهذه .. من الدموع

والنص كما ستلاحظون.. ينطق بلسان الطفله التي هي
اصغر افراد العائله كما سيتضح لكم من طريقه تعبيرها عن الحزن ..ومن نظرتها لهذا الشأن في مجمله

I stood with Mom and Johnny
outside of the children's hospital playroom,
looking through the window
at all the crafts, dolls and dressup clothes.

Johnny asked Mom if William was going to die.
I asked Mom if I could color and play with the dolls.

On bright pink paper with a fat blue crayon
I tried to spell out 'Lu Kee MeeA' and drew
the swing in our backyard that
William played on everyday.

Johnny ripped my picture to pieces
and told me to draw a pony instead.
He said sorry a few minutes later
and on a new sheet of pink paper
he taught me how to spell leukemia correctly.

But he ripped that one up too
because his tears got the paper wet.
